Best practice goat worm management

Join the ParaBoss extension team as we take you on a journey to minimise the impacts that worms are having in your goat herds.

The past seasons have created a perfect environment for worms to ‘do their thing’ and they have been causing significant headaches in many areas.

With no new anthelmintics on the horizon for producers, control of worms relies on careful management and with limited options is often a real challenge to maintain productivity, health and welfare in our herds.

Paul Meibusch from Colere will be our presenter, and he will cover:

• Testing and diagnostics
• Treatment tips to reduce the reliance on chemicals and aid to slow down the development of resistance to drenches.
